What would I say to your daughter?

I realize that sending a loved one to a professional counselor can be a scary thought.  You are placing your precious daughter in the hands of someone else-someone whom you hope has the same ethical and moral standards that you do and someone who will provide safe and appropriate guidance for your little girl.  I strive to be a role model for women and I have walked a very colorful path with some fairly treacherous obstacles.  With the help of the Lord and significant, loving women in my life, I have overcome the challenges.  I have grown incredibly close to the Lord and have developed an unending passion to teach others about His grace, mercy and love.  I am also successful in life; both personally and professionally. I want to be one of those significant, loving women for your daughter.  Please allow me the honor in trying to do that.

What does biblically-based mean?

Seasons’ foundation for truth is the Holy Bible.  This truth believes in the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and in Jesus Christ as the one and only Savior.  Salvation comes to people as a gift through the belief in the death and resurrection of Christ.  Seasons’ accepts people from all walks of life, whether they are Believers in Christ or not. 

 

What is the meaning of a clinically-sound practice?

Seasons’ represents Counselors who have been professionally trained and have met the requirements for an accredited Master’s degree program.  The processes by which each Counselor conducts therapy is within their own preference, however, the techniques used are those that have been historically and successfully implemented in the counseling arena.  In other words, we use the criteria required by DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) for the state of Colorado; we do not practice hypnotherapy or other Eastern Philosophies in our counseling sessions.
